…“YOUR SUCCESS HAS BROUGHT HONOUR TO ABIA STATE” As Governor Otti And Police IG Decorate Promoted Senior Officers.
Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, joined the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, to decorate some promoted senior officers of the Nigerian Police Force with their new rank.
The event, held at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, was attended by some other state governors including the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki; Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno and Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.
The Governor of Abia State, Chief Dr Alex Otti was elated on the decoration of this illustrious Abia son, Mr. Ifeanyi Uche who was promoted to the rank of Commissioner of Police and decorated in Abuja.
Gov Otti described the new Commissioner of Police as a fine gentleman and officer whose success has brought honour to the state and prayed that he would continue to excel and break new grounds in his professional career.
The newly promoted Commissioner of Police, Uche hails from Umunneochi LGA of the state.
Uche is a certified Ethical Hacker and a Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator.
He is said to have taken several local and International courses on cyber security.
He is also a member of INTERPOL Cybercrime Advisory Body, Association of Cybercrime Specialists, among others.
Until his promotion he was the Deputy Commissioner of Police Cybercrime (INTERPOL) Nigeria.
