During the visits, the Commissioner of Police commended the royal fathers for their steadfast support to the Nigeria Police Force and acknowledged the indispensable role of traditional institutions in promoting peace and security.

He reiterated the directive of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, on strengthening collaboration with stakeholders and advancing grassroots policing through robust community partnerships.

In their separate remarks, the monarchs welcomed the Commissioner of Police and pledged their continued support towards sustaining peace and security within their respective kingdoms.

The familiarisation visit culminated in an interactive engagement with critical stakeholders, during which the Commissioner of Police addressed officers and men of the Warri Area Command, community leaders, and other critical stakeholders.

He charged officers to uphold the highest standards of discipline, professionalism and integrity, urging them to remain civil in their interactions with members of the public, respect human rights and strictly comply with the Force’s extant regulations.

The CP warned officers to stop denting the image of the Nigeria Police Force, stressing that there is no longer room for impunity warning that every officer’s conduct must reflect the core values and ethical standards of the Force. He further cautioned against violations of the Nigeria Police Force Social Media Policy, reminding officers that their conduct, both online and offline, must at all times conform with the Force’s regulations.

The CP reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to intelligence-led and community-based policing and urged stakeholders to sustain their support through timely and credible information, emphasizing that effective policing and public safety can only be achieved through collective responsibility.
