On the occasion of Nigeria’s Democracy Day, I extend warm felicitations to all Nigerians as we celebrate 26 years of uninterrupted democratic governance, national unity, and peaceful coexistence.
This day reminds us of the sacrifices made by patriotic Nigerians in the struggle for democracy and the collective responsibility we all share in sustaining peace, justice, and national development.
Under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, Nigeria continues to strengthen democratic institutions and promote policies aimed at fostering national integration, security, and development across the country.
At the National Boundary Commission, we ultimately recognize that peaceful boundary management remains vital to national stability, good governance, and harmonious relations among communities and neighbouring countries. As a Commission, we remain absolutely committed to the peaceful resolution of boundary issues, the promotion of cross-border cooperation, and the strengthening of national unity in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government.
As we commemorate Democracy Day, I urge all Nigerians to continue to uphold the values of peace, tolerance, dialogue, and patriotism for the progress and prosperity of our beloved nation.
