The Federal Government of Nigeria has received with profound sadness, the news of a tragic explosion at the Ras Laffan Industrial Complex in the State of Qatar, which resulted in the loss of thirteen lives in addition to sixty-six injured.
On behalf of the Government and people of Nigeria, the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu extends heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of the State of Qatar, particularly the families of those who lost their lives in this unfortunate incident, and prays for the speedy recovery of those injured.
The thoughts and prayers of the Government and people of Nigeria are with the Government and people of the State of Qatar at this difficult time.
