FIC Report (Rivers State) – The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Rivers State Command, uncovers a local refinery at Adobi-Akwa settlement in Etche Local Government Area of the state.
Speaking with newsmen in Port Harcourt, the NSCDC commandant,Rivers State Command,Basil Igwebueze said the team saw where the pipeline vandals tapped into the wellhead that an unknown multi- national company connected their pipes.
Igwebueze hinted that the command will not relent in the fight against illegal dealings in petroleum products.
He further urged members of the public to have trust in the corp by providing actionable intelligence that would enhance arrest of economic saboteurs in the state.
