As part of the activities to mark the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife for 2020, the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has launched the ‘Nursing Now’ campaign – an initiative aimed at raising the profile and status of nursing worldwide.

They are constant companions of doctors, acting as eyes and ears for the doctor and keeping them up to date with the patients’ progress, she explained.
